the most amazing origami jolly jars.

This term, our Project Based Learning (PBL) started with the teachers putting us into groups. In these groups we had to work collaboratively to create Jolly Jars for the school fair. This task helped us to begin exploring our PBL question for the term - How can we build community through our actions? We had to research ideas, be creative with our product, experiment with our materials and write instructions that could be followed by others.

Here is a link to my instructions.

I learnt that instructions need to have capitals and full stops.

Reflection on PBL:
For our Jolly Jar my group made origami jars.

I contributed to my group by decorating the jar with paint and glitter and pompoms, I helped cut things out and make things.

Our Jolly Jar was creative because it was over decorated with glitter and pompoms we put a dog face on the lid.

What I learned about working with others was it was fun and people help each other.

How did we build community through our actions? Our jars got sold

and the money goes to the bike track at school. We had a fun day working together to make our school a fun place.
