This week in Reading we are looking at articles on kiwi kids news and seeing if there different Genres, we had to do three of them here is mine.

Article 1

Genre: National

Tornado hits South Auckland

When I read this it was sad because someone died, 2 people where hurt and lifted roofs And the time was around 8:30.

Genre: Globe

Astronomers find new planet

there is a new planet and its Barnard’s star, that sits about 6 light years away, I think this  is very cool because it is one of the closet planets to the sun and now we have a new planet to Look at.

Article 3

Genre: Matariki 

All you can know about MATARIKI

Matariki Is the name of the star cluster, It is so cool because it tells you that it is the start of the Maori New Year, And they all have names

For writing we practicing understanding and using 4 different sentence types, That  are Question, Statement, Command, Exclamation.

Question: Why Is the Moon Red?
 Statement: "l like the color of the moon"
Command:Go see the red moon.
 Exclamation:  The Moon Is Red!

My Wighting In Week 7 Term 2

 This week We where doing the five senses on Monday morning, I hope you like it

I see the the bright sun coming from my window when I wake up 

I see the people on the street going to work.  I smell the yummy Porridge when I make my yummy breakfast. I smell the flowers blooming in the sunny morning. I taste the mint from my toothpaste when I brush my teeth. I touch the TV remote when I watch a movie so I won't be bored. I  touched the cat when I was giving them a pat. I hear the birds singing their song when I take my first step outside of the day.

Math week 6 Term 2

 This week we were doing Perimeter, Volume, Area, but we needed to make a game for top team this is mine its not fully done but it is my best for now

Every one has three hacky sacks and they throw them into a circle you get points(it goes up to 50 points)

This week we where learning about graphs I made one the title on it was People's favorite NZ Native Bird we had so much fun going around the hub finding everyone's opinion  Here is my work

How have I collected my data? By walking around the hub and asking people what bird they like.

Why did I choose this graph? Because it makes it looks easier to understand.

Why did people choose Kiwi more than Kea? Probably because a lot of people have seen a Kiwi not a Kea
